Effortlessly tailor your Amazon order management to your preferences using the CedCommerce Amazon Channel App’s Order Settings. This section empowers you to define how orders are processed and synced between Amazon and your Shopify store. Default settings ensure that only Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) orders are created on Shopify, allowing you to further customize your order handling approach.
Why This is Important?
Order management is a pivotal aspect of maintaining operational efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction. By configuring these settings, you establish a seamless order processing flow, streamlined tax handling, and clear identification of Amazon orders within your Shopify store.
What can you do?
Access Order Settings:
- Begin by accessing the Order Settings section, your gateway to a well-structured order processing system.
Enable Creating Orders for Non-Existing Products:
- By enabling this option, you grant the flexibility to create Amazon orders on Shopify even for products that aren’t present in your Shopify store.
- This is particularly useful for situations where you want to fulfill Amazon-specific orders from your store itself even if the products are not there in your Shopify store.
Create orders for non-existing products, on Shopify:
- Create Amazon orders on Shopify even if that product is not on Shopify.
- This will help you centralize your orders in one place.
Amazon Item Tax on Shopify:
- Activate this setting to generate orders on Shopify with accurate Amazon Item Tax.
- It ensures that the correct tax amount associated with each product is represented on your Shopify orders.
Amazon Shipping Tax on Shopify:
- Turn on this option to seamlessly incorporate Amazon Shipping costs with the orders you fetch on Amazon.
- This guarantees that shipping costs are accurately represented in your order records.
Sync FBA Orders on Shopify:
- Enable this option if you want to sync FBA orders on Shopify, it means these orders will be created on the Shopify store as well.
- Additionally, you can customize the name by adding first and last name of the customer.
Enable Sync CPF Number:
- Activate this feature to synchronize the CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) number.
- This is essential for international sales to Brazilian citizens due to customs requirements, ensuring compliance and smoother cross-border transactions.
Configure Order Source Identifier:
- Automatically, the Amazon tag is added to orders to identify their source, but you can add a custom Source identifier if you have something specific in your mind.
- This makes it easier to distinguish Amazon-originated orders from other sources.
Add Tag in Order:
- Craft custom tags to offer a higher level of order categorization.
- This aids in organizing your orders based on unique characteristics or attributes and then easy identification later on.
Modify Shopify Order Name:
- Edit order names and details for enhanced order identification.
- This customization enables you to add prefixes, suffixes, or other relevant identifiers to facilitate order tracking and management.
