How to Configure Seller Preference?

The seller preference lets you set the condition for you to import the products from the Shopify store to eBay. You can apply filters for the following:

  • Import Product Filters
  • Import Collection Products
  • Match Products from Shopify
  • Resolve Order and eMail Error

How to apply the Import Product filter?

To apply the import product filter you need to fill in the sections from the following options.

Import and Replace Products: The option imports the products from Shopify based on the applied filters and replaces /removes the existing products from the app. By default, the setting is No, but before initiating the import you can set the setting to Yes if you want to remove all the existing products from the app. Once the import process is completed revert the setting to No (This is required, otherwise, the product will keep in replacing whenever the import will be processed).

 

Product Type: You can select the product type based on which you can import the products in the app. The products types are imported from your connected Shopify store.

 

Published Status: You import the products based on their published status in Shopify. You can select from the following options:

  • Published: Only Shopify Published status products will be imported into the app.
  • Unpublished: Only Shopify Unpublished status products will be imported into the app.
  • Any: If selected Any, both the Published & Unpublished status products will be imported into the app.

Product Status: You import the products based on their published status in Shopify. You can select from the following options:

  • Active
  • Archived: Only Shopify Archived products will be imported into the app.
  • Draft: Only Shopify Draft products will be imported into the app.

Vendor: You can select the Vendor to n import the products in the app. Vendors are imported from the connected Shopify store.

How to apply the Import Collection Product?

Import Collection Products: Products can be imported in the app based on the selected Shopify collections, you can select the checkbox shown next to the imported Shopify collections. And when you make any changes to your collections or when collections seem to be missing in the app, you can re-import the products so as to keep the app in sync.

  • Click on the Import collection button to import all collections from the Store to the App.

NOTE: In case, to import the new products based on any of the above filters and replace the previously imported products, use Import and Replace Products option.

How to match products from eBay?

The preferences for matching products from eBay are, by default is Title or SKU. This will help the app in recognizing your already existing products on eBay and hence avoiding any sort of duplicity issues. Make sure you have the title(s) or SKU(s) of the products same on both Shopify & eBay also you can still set anyone as the custom preferences by clicking on the Add Attribute button.

Select the eBay attribute you want to match with Shopify Attributes. The app lets you set two preferences to choose which include: Title and SKU.

How to set the resolve order and eMail error?

The section helps you to resolve an order error “Email contains an invalid domain name.”

  • Enter the order ID along with the email address for each.
  • In the case of multiple entries, you need to click on the Add button.

Once you have completed setting up all the entries, click Save.
