Getting started with the plugin

1- Connection

Install the Amazon integration for WooCommerce plugin on your WordPress website. Once installed, click on Amazon under the CedCommerce option, and you will be redirected to the welcome page of the plugin.

On this page, you need to enter your seller email address and the region you’re operating in to start the configuration setup. Click on connect your amazon account and proceed to the next step.

Before connecting your Amazon account, please ensure the following –

  • You have primary access to the Amazon Seller Central account.
  • Your seller account is not suspended, inactive, or in vacation mode.
  • You have an Amazon Professional account with an updated Payment Method.
  • You are connecting the Professional Seller Account, not Amazon Pay or any other account.

In the next step, you need to authorize the CedCommerce plugin to access your seller partner insights, Amazon fulfillment, pricing, inventory, and a few more details.

You can read all the details carefully, and once you’re good to go, click on the box as highlighted in the image below to provide your consent and then click on confirm button.

Also, if you are a New Amazon Seller, make sure:

  • Your products have Brands approved by Amazon. If that is not the case, you can manage it here
  • Your products either have valid barcodes approved by GS1 or Barcode Exception from Amazon.

Note: Also consider this before you start:

  • You have not sold any products from this account.
  • It might take 2-3 days for your account to work seamlessly with enabled features.

Read the instructions carefully before proceeding and click Ok, I understood.

And done, your Amazon account is now successfully connected.

Click Continue to proceed to the next step that is Amazon Options.

2- Amazon options

This section contains various fields where you can fill out details related to your products, such as Brand name, Manufacturer, Product ID, etc. However, it is not mandatory to fill all these fields here.

The left columns allow you to fill the static values while the right side columns help you to select  the global attributes, custom attributes and meta keys to get the value from the product level.

3- General settings

  • Listings configuration

Under the listing configuration, sellers can configure the stock levels and the markup values based on their preferences.

Stock levels-

The stock level is to set up the maximum quantity you want to display for your products on Amazon. So if you don’t want to sync all stock of WooCommerce products to Amazon, then you can set the value of the maximum threshold for stock level.

Set your preferences to assign an increased or decreased markup value to the product prices while listing on Amazon. Markup is a specific or percentage value that is attached to the product prices on complete automation.

  • Scheduler configuration

With the help of schedulers, you can manage the automatic syncing of products, stock and orders.

Order sync-

The order sync feature allows your orders generated on Amazon to be fetched automatically on the WooCommerce dashboard. Also, keep in mind that the SKUs have to be mandatorily the same for order syncing across the two platforms.

Inventory sync-

Keep your Amazon inventory in sync with all the stock changes at your WooCommerce store on complete automation. Here also, the SKUs must be same in order to continue with an uninterrupted inventory syncing

Existing products sync-

Sync your existing Amazon listings with WooCommerce based on SKU and avoid confusion.

ASIN stands for Amazon Standard Identification Number. These are unique codes assigned to products on Amazon to facilitate easy identification for sellers and buyers. With this feature you can schedule syncing of Amazon ASIN with your WooCommerce products based on UPC or EAN codes. This helps in relisting your products on Amazon depends upon whether the product is already available on Amazon or not.

Once you’re done filling in all the listings configuration details, click Save and proceed to the next step.

4- Configuration

In the final configuration step, sellers can review their following details-

  • Amazon registered mail ID,
  • Marketplace ID,
  • Country code,
  • Default currency code, and
  • Default language code.

Click continue to finish the setup process.

Now you will be directed to the main dashboard, where you will have access to all the settings of the plugin.
