5.3.Offer Listing Vs New Listing ↑ Back to Top
Offer Listing
CedCommerce offers a feature called “Offer Listing,” streamlining the product listing process on Amazon. With this feature, you can effortlessly list a product on Amazon that matches an existing listing, sparing you from the tedious steps of selecting a category, mapping attributes, and creating a new listing from scratch.
Here’s an example: Suppose you’re selling an iPhone on your Shopify store and want to replicate the listing on Amazon. Using the “Amazon Lookup” feature, the app will search it on Amazon using the product’s barcode. Upon finding a similar product, your Shopify product will be automatically listed on Amazon. The app will designate the product status as “Not Listed: Offer.” This streamlined process eliminates the need for you to manually choose a product category or perform attribute mapping.
Once the matching product is identified on Amazon, the app provides you with the unique Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN). All that’s left for you to do is select the product’s condition type, such as New, Used, or Refurbished, and you’re ready to start selling on Amazon. This efficient approach not only saves you valuable time but also simplifies the listing process, making cross-platform selling a breeze.
New Listing
The new listing is when you upload a product on Amazon that is not already listed on Amazon by any merchant and the barcode of that product is unique.
Here you need to add a title, description, select a category, and map attributes. You can either use a similar listing as Shopify or customize it for Amazon.
You can update the title, description, handling time, parent SKU, images and manage the variant product listing. This helps you to customize products as per Amazon.
