9.SEO Analytics ↑ Back to Top
The SEO Analytics section of the app helps you analyze the SEO performance of your listings and improve them based on factors considered important by Etsy in ranking your products.
The whole idea of improving the SEO of your product listings is to be able to rank high on the first page of the search results which will drastically increase your conversion rates/ROI.
This module works by assigning a quality score to each of your product listings. The scores can range from 0% to a 100%. A score of zero implies that the quality of a listing is the poorest, while a score of a hundred implies the best quality.
How are your product listings categorized based on the quality score?
If the score is between 0 to 40 then the listing will be categorized as having Critical Quality Issues, if the score is between 40 to 60 then the listing will be categorized as having Moderate Quality Issues, and if the score is between 60 to 100 then the listing will be categorized as having Minor Quality Issues.
With the basic understanding of quality scores out of the way, we can now move on to talk about the SEO module itself.
The SEO Analytics module is the sixth item from the top in the left-hand navigation menu. Once you click on it, a sub-menu will appear containing the following items –
- SEO Dashboard – The dashboard will give you an overview of the performance of your product listings in the form of widgets like Listing Scorecard, Listing Report, Sales Report, and Top 5 critical listings along with an FAQ section at the bottom.
- Listing Details – The Listing details page is a grid divided into different tabs containing products in different quality score ranges. You can view and edit all your listings from this page.
Click on these sub-menu items to go to their respective pages. Let’s break down each page one by one.
