Reconnect with Etsy is the 13th item from the top in the left-hand navigation menu and it will allow you to reconnect the CedCommerce Etsy Integration App with an Etsy Shop. There might be a few different reasons why you would need to reconnect the app with an Etsy Shop and they are listed below –
- Your current Etsy shop has been suspended – This is one of the most common reasons, Etsy has strict rules about what you can and can not sell on their Marketplace. So, if you’re found violating their policies, they will suspend your shop without any prior warning.
- You connected the wrong Etsy Shop with the app – This is again a common reason. You may have more than one Etsy shop and it’s possible that you may connect to the wrong one.
- You’re getting a Token Rejected error while performing any action – This is by far one of the rarest reasons. This error occurs when the connection between the app and your Etsy shop breaks due to some technical reasons. In this case, you’ll want to reconnect to the same shop again.
- Other – If you have any other reason for reconnecting the app than the ones we mentioned then select the ‘Other’ option and explain your reason in the text field that appears.
Finally check the radio button for Terms & Conditions and click on ‘Send Request‘. One of our representatives will get back to you to take things forward.
Note – You can’t reconnect the app to a shop on your own, you need to submit a request to us for the same. We will review the reasons for reconnecting and if we find the reason to be genuine, we will do it on your behalf.
