What Is Profiling?

Profiling is a way of categorizing and managing multiple products under a common category. i.e., price, product category, shipping address, etc. It enables sellers to modify/edit product details such as price, inventory, categories, shipping, etc., before uploading products on the BestBuy Marketplace. In short, Profiling provides sellers with the ability to control products before getting them uploaded on the marketplace.

Under the profiling section, you can either edit an existing profile or create a new profile for products.
There is a toggle button to enable or disable the profiling.

Add Profile

• Add Profile: Click on ‘Add profile’ to create a new profile for the product.
• Profile Name: Choose a unique name for your profile that reflects the identity of the products.
• Conditions: Choose all or anyone conditions from the drop-down menu and view the result. Also, choose a value i.e. exist in, equals, not equals, etc., and then view the result.
• Templates: In this section, you can assign the existing templates(category, inventory, and price) that you want to apply to this profile. Or you can create a new template for a particular profile.

Your product profile is all set to work.

You can also Edit, Duplicate, and Delete the existing profiles, from the icons given under the Action in the profile grid.
