Team member can send the offline messages to the front-end users (Customers) apart from having an online conversation with them.
To send an offline message to the front-end users
- Access the Team Member login.
- In the left navigation panel, click the Contact Customers menu.
The page appears as shown in the following figure: - Scroll down to the required user listed on the page.
- In the Offline Message column, click the Send Message button.
A dialog box appears. - In the Send Message To Customer box, enter the required message, and then click the Send button.
The message is sent to the respective user and a success message appears. The team member can view the sent message in the Chat history section available on the Chat Section page later on.
To have an online chat conversation
- Access the Team Member login.
- In the left navigation panel, click the Contact Customers menu.
The page appears as shown in the following figure: - Scroll down to the required user listed on the page.
- In the Online Conversation column, click the Conversation button.
The Chat Section page appears as shown in the following figure: - Under Comments Section, in the box, enter the message, and then click the Send button.
The sent message appears in the Chat history section.
